About The Position

GVW Group is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to the Chairman to serve as a trusted strategic partner and executive leader. The Chief of Staff functions as the Chairman's force multiplier, ensuring vision, priorities, and strategic objectives are translated into action with precision, accountability, and speed. You will serve as the critical link between ambition and results, leading transformational initiatives, resolving execution challenges, and driving enterprise-wide performance.

Requirements

10 to 15+ years of experience in high-consequence environments such as: Private Equity, Top-tier Consulting, Investment Banking, Military Leadership, Executive Operating Roles within high-growth organizations
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous, and mission-critical environments.
Experience advising or reporting directly to senior executives and influencing decisions at the highest levels.
Strategic Leadership: Ability to move seamlessly between long-term strategy and day-to-day execution.
Operational Excellence: Proven mastery in managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, and P&L management.
Executive Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as Chief of Staff, COO, General Manager, or comparable executive leadership role is highly preferred.
Experience in industrial manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or other operational B2B environments.
Exposure to family-office structures or multi-company holding organizations is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Execute and oversee the Chairman's highest-priority initiatives across businesses, investments, and strategic projects.
Translate complex ideas and strategic directives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes and clear accountability.
Drive execution excellence by maintaining momentum, removing barriers, and ensuring consistent progress toward objectives.
Foster alignment across portfolio companies and leadership teams to ensure coordinated execution of strategic goals.
Monitor critical enterprise initiatives and proactively identify risks, obstacles, and opportunities.
Create transparency around performance, progress, and results while reinforcing a culture of accountability.
Lead mission-critical initiatives including acquisitions, transformations, restructurizations, and special projects.
Serve as an interim leader when necessary to stabilize underperforming or transitional business functions.
Mobilize and coordinate cross-functional teams to address emerging challenges and capitalize on strategic opportunities.
Optimize the Chairman's effectiveness by managing priorities, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring organizational follow-through.
