About The Position

At Charta, we prioritize results compared to methods used to achieve those results. As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will be a high-leverage partner, acting as a strategic advisor and technical force multiplier. You will sit at the intersection of leadership, product execution, and business strategy, helping the CEO evaluate new clinical specialties, navigate complex integrations, and scale the company’s reach. This is a deeply technical role designed for a "killer operator"—someone who can build a functional prototype in the morning and lead a market-sizing strategy session with the CEO in the afternoon. You will own mission-critical projects end-to-end, from identifying ambiguous problems to implementing scalable solutions. You'd be a great fit, if you have: Engineering Foundation: A BS in Computer Science from a top-tier university and 1–2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. You are comfortable using modern AI coding tools to build and iterate quickly. Founder/Product Mindset: 1–2+ years of experience as a founder or early product leader. You have a strong desire to build from the ground up and possess a high degree of ownership. Rapid Domain Mastery: An elite ability to quickly learn and navigate complex industries (such as healthcare billing standards or certification processes) and translate that knowledge into technical prototypes or strategic analysis. Strategic Analysis: Proficiency in market sizing, financial modeling, and fundraising operations to support the CEO in high-stakes decision-making. Full-Stack Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to lead customer discovery calls and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Execution Intensity: A bias toward action and a thrive-in-chaos mentality. You are comfortable wearing multiple hats and enjoy the challenge of building from zero to one.

Requirements
