About The Position

The Chief of Staff & Technology Transformation is a senior technology and business leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that align technology investments with strategic business objectives. This role provides leadership across governance, operational excellence, technology enablement, vendor management, and organizational change initiatives to deliver measurable business, operational, and financial outcomes. Working closely with executive leadership, IT, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders, the position serves as a key catalyst for enterprise modernization, helping to optimize technology portfolios, strengthen governance frameworks, improve cross-functional alignment, and accelerate value realization from strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Relationship Management, Technology Operations, Consulting, or related functions
  • Experience leading cross-functional enterprise initiatives in complex, fast-paced organizations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology governance, vendor management, and operational transformation
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive organizational alignment
  • Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and strategic partnerships
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills
  • Execution-oriented leader with a bias for action and results
  • Ability to bring structure to complex, ambiguous environments without slowing momentum
  • Strong prioritization capability across competing initiatives and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive accountability and ownership across teams
  • Comfortable operating as a peer to senior executives, influencing and challenging decisions when needed
  • Track record of building high-performing, engaged teams with strong followership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise AI governance and enablement initiatives focused on accelerating business value while establishing appropriate operational, security, and compliance guardrails
  • Coordinate AI steering committee activities, intake processes, and prioritization frameworks across the enterprise
  • Aggregate, evaluate, and track AI initiatives and opportunities across business functions
  • Partner with Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Architecture, and business leaders to establish responsible AI governance standards
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and communication mechanisms to track AI adoption, operational impact, and value realization
  • Identify opportunities to scale successful AI solutions and operationalize repeatable best practices
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to develop and execute enterprise technology vendor strategies
  • Lead vendor rationalization, optimization, and consolidation initiatives across the technology portfolio
  • Identify and drive validated cost savings and operational synergy opportunities
  • Establish vendor governance standards, performance management processes, and executive QBR cadences
  • Improve visibility into technology spend, contract renewals, licensing optimization, and vendor risk management
  • Support enterprise standards for technology procurement, partnership governance, and strategic sourcing activities
  • Execute across multiple concurrent initiatives with tight prioritization and disciplined delivery
  • Serve as a strategic interface between IT and business leadership to improve alignment, communication, and solution execution
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and technology-enabled opportunities
  • Improve project intake quality, prioritization, and requirements maturity before initiatives transition into delivery teams
  • Facilitate solution evaluation and vendor selection activities when third-party implementation support is appropriate
  • Coordinate transition of externally implemented solutions into internal operational ownership and support models
  • Support organizational change management, adoption, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Drive transparency, accountability, and communication across business and technology teams
  • Implement portfolio governance and prioritization frameworks to manage competing demands and ensure focus on highest-value initiatives
  • Build a culture where leaders are accountable for outcomes, not activities
  • Drive execution discipline, transparency, and measurable performance tracking
  • Develop and manage roadmaps explicitly tied to EBITDA impact, cost reduction, and scalability
  • Act as a trusted advisor and operator to executive leadership, with the ability to influence and challenge where needed
  • Translate business strategy into clear, executable technology priorities
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, including board-level visibility where required
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations
