About The Position

Broughton Hospital (BH) is currently accepting applications for the Chief of Quality Risk Management and Compliance. This role manages the hospital’s Quality Risk Management and Compliance (QRMC), Health Information Management (HIM), Utilization Review (UR), and Staff Development departments, directly supervise the hospital’s Environment of Care (EOC) Coordinator and the Policy Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social sciences, business administration, or communications from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of supervisory or consultative experience in human services program to which assigned; OR Bachelor's degree in social sciences, business administration, or communications from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of experience in the above; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
  • Must be in good standing with the Health Care Personnel Registry and other licensing boards/agencies.

  • Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or healthcare setting
  • Experience interpreting Joint Commission, CMS, and/or other regulatory standards
  • Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a coordinated hospital-wide framework to continuously improve the hospital’s performance in delivering quality psychiatric services to Broughton Hospital’s patients and to meet internal and external standards of care.
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this position is responsible for collaborating with other key stakeholders to establish hospital goals; spearheading organizational commitment to effectiveness and efficiency.
  • This position also oversees the development of systemic approaches to assess hospital performance through incorporating surveys and qualitative and quantitative audit methodologies, then corrective action feedback if deficiencies are identified.
