About The Position

The City of Ridgefield is seeking a Chief of Police. This role requires a strong leader with experience in community engagement and general management. Requirements

  • Cover letter must describe experience with community engagement and steps to be taken in the first 90 days to become part of the community.

  • Successful completion of a background investigation including reference checking, criminal background check, polygraph, medical evaluation (including drug test), and psychological testing.
