About The Position

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Chief of Anesthesia for their flagship hospital within the Methodist Le Bonheur System, located at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, TN. This full-time position offers a leading compensation package and the opportunity to lead a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team. The hospital is a 319-bed, full-service teaching facility recognized for its patient safety and quality measures by The Leapfrog Group and U.S. News & World Report.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC or BE)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Anesthesia Care Team, consisting of 15 Physicians and 23 CRNAs.
• Oversee anesthesia services for an annual case volume of 19,916.
• Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases including General, Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, GI, GYN, Plastics, Pulmonary, and OB.
• Manage anesthesia services in 20 ORs, a Dedicated OB unit, Cath Lab, and GI suite.
• Ensure dedicated OB CRNA team coverage, offering 2 /24's a week for approximately 4,000 births annually.
