About The Position
We are on FIRE! Ignite Medical Resort Crown Point is Hiring a Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer! POSITION PURPOSE: Chief Nursing Officer resumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Indiana
- Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
- CPR and First Aid training
- Registered Nurse
- 2 year Director of Nursing experience in SNF
Responsibilities
- Resumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process
- Ability to take call after hours and on weekends and maintains a chain of command
- Maintains quality assurance and implements plans for improvement
- Present a professional appearance
- Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to patient care
- Organize and prioritize tasks and projects
- Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of residents, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction
