About The Position
Ignite Medical Resort Round Rock is seeking a Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process. This role requires current Registered Nursing licensure in good standing in the State of Indiana, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and CPR and First Aid training. The position involves taking call after hours and on weekends, maintaining quality assurance, implementing improvement plans, and presenting a professional appearance. The Chief Nursing Officer must be able to understand and follow directions related to patient care and has full access to Protected Health Information of residents. Exceptional attendance is a requirement.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Indiana
- Degreed as a registered nurse from an accredited nursing program
- CPR and First Aid training
- Ability to speak, hear, and read English
- Ability to discern temperature, texture, size, and shape
- Registered Nurse
- 2 year Director of Nursing experience in SNF
