The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is the Company’s senior physician leader and a visible, client facing member of its executive team. The CMO oversees clinical quality and helps grow the Company’s healthcare staffing and consulting services for Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities, Tribal 638 facilities, and Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs). Across these relationships, the CMO is responsible for patient safety, provider performance, strong client partnerships, strategic relationship development, and sustainable revenue growth. This role combines practicing medicine with clinical leadership, executive leadership, strategic relationship development, and business development. In addition to traditional CMO responsibilities, the CMO is expected to serve as a senior ambassador for the Company within the Indian health and broader healthcare communities. The CMO will leverage established professional relationships and networks, develop new relationships with healthcare leaders and decision-makers, identify opportunities for the Company, facilitate introductions, and help convert relationships and market knowledge into qualified business opportunities. The CMO helps clients solve workforce and care delivery challenges, assesses the clinical and commercial merits of new markets and opportunities, shapes staffing and consulting solutions, and helps win and successfully deliver new work. The CMO is expected to play an active role in originating and advancing business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and increasing the Company’s visibility and credibility among prospective clients, partners, and other healthcare stakeholders. The CMO must be a clinically credible physician, a rigorous steward of quality, an effective public speaker, a trusted partner to clients and providers, and an effective relationship-builder capable of contributing meaningfully to the Company’s growth strategy. Success in the role will require the CMO to balance clinical leadership with proactive engagement in business development, strategic networking, client development, and revenue generation. The CMO works closely with leaders in operations, recruiting, business development, and finance. Clinical oversight is exercised in coordination with each client’s medical leadership, policies, credentialing and privileging processes, and applicable contractual responsibilities.
