Chief Medical Officer Opportunity in Central Florida at the Advanced Rehab Institute
About The Position
The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an experienced and visionary physician leader to serve in a dual Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and inpatient rehabilitation physician role at our flagship inpatient rehabilitation facility. This is a unique opportunity to build upon an already established and growing rehabilitation program while helping shape the future direction of rehabilitation services across the organization. The incoming physician leader will partner closely with executive leadership to identify and execute strategic growth initiatives, expand specialty rehabilitation services, and further position the institute as a regional destination for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- M.D, D.O.
- Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the rehabilitation institute
- Oversee inpatient rehabilitation clinical operations and physician engagement
- Help shape and implement medical policies and quality standards
- Expand and enhance specialty rehabilitation programs and services
- Drive quality initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient experience
- Lead growth initiatives and strengthen the institute’s competitive positioning in the market
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Maintain an inpatient rehabilitation clinical practice
