We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for a remote-based role in the USA. This position is ideal for experienced VPs of Marketing or Senior Directors looking to lead marketing efforts for a small business specializing in online training courses, eLearning, SaaS, and coaching services. The company focuses on educating individual entrepreneurs and small business owners. While headquartered in the Mid-Northeast, the team operates entirely remotely across the USA, fostering an excellent culture with low staff turnover. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving D2C growth for similar companies, with expertise in the top of the online sales funnel, customer acquisition strategies, and tactics that have led to exponential growth through performance media, paid search, direct response advertising, email marketing, video, sales copy, storytelling, and testimonials that yield excellent ROI and ROAS, supported by sales development representatives. While affiliates, partnerships, and word-of-mouth referrals are valued, the focus is on direct-to-customer tactics. Through hands-on leadership of a small, brilliant internal marketing and sales team, the CMO will sustainably develop brand awareness in a compliant manner and generate directly sourced leads who become satisfied clients. The role also involves understanding the entire customer journey and contributing significantly to the transformation of operations, coaching and training, events, technology, data/analytics, sales, customer service support, and success.
