Chief Maintenance Technician Trainee

Mission Linen Supply•Santa Barbara, CA

About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is hiring experienced maintenance technicians with management or supervisory experience for a fast-track, nine-month training program. Trainees learn directly from the company’s Chief and Regional Technicians and develop the skills to lead maintenance operations at an industrial laundry facility. The program is intended for people with hands-on industrial maintenance expertise and leadership experience, rather than people just beginning in the trades. Industry-specific experience is not required. Training covers electrical engineering coursework, energy conservation practices, industrial laundry equipment, and safety procedures. Trainees who complete the program move into a Chief Technician position at one of Mission Linen Supply’s 25 facilities. Candidates must be willing to relocate after training to manage a facility within the first three years of the program. Mission Linen Supply is a family-owned, privately held provider of linen, uniform, and facility service products across five western states. Founded in 1930 and headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, the company describes its industry as stable, essential, and recession-resistant.
