About The Position

This position is responsible for directing and implementing the City's comprehensive information technology strategy, including systems planning, business process re-engineering, and technological infrastructure to support organizational objectives.

Requirements

Master's degree or greater with 9 - 12 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree with 15 - 19 years of experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Thorough knowledge of business process re-engineering and information systems management
Experience in strategic planning and budget management
Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

5 years of managerial experience preferred
No additional certifications.

Responsibilities

Direct information management budgeting, strategic planning, and database system strategy.
Oversee planning and implementation of business information systems.
Set overall direction of internal business systems based on senior management forecasting.
Identify user needs and build Information Services (IS) teams across organizational levels.
Serve as primary corporate spokesperson for information and technology management.
Explore and evaluate new technologies for future implementation.
Interface with industry partners on information management matters.
Provide technological support for Information Service personnel.
Creates and directs long-term strategic plans to guide major organization-wide initiatives.
Additional duties as assigned.
