About The Position

CLA is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer with Manufacturing industry experience for our growing CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group based in Milwaukee or Racine, WI. This role involves performing CFO functions as part of the client’s accounting services team, identifying and implementing best practices, and working with clients to set financial policy and drive overall strategy. The position requires driving capital planning, risk management, ratio and KPI analysis, and board of director interactions. It also includes leading financial administration, planning, and budgeting, overseeing longer-term budget planning and cost management, and monitoring progress of budgets while presenting operational metrics. The role ensures financial staff maintains financial record systems and monitors the use of funds, manages cash flow and forecasting, directs financial accounting, and coordinates audit activities. The CFO will effectively and efficiently manage multiple client engagements, build strong client relationships, and develop key external business networks to become a service and industry thought leader.

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
  • Relevant manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable in fast paced environment and skilled in multitasking.
  • Bachelor's degree is required (preferably within Accounting, Finance, or relation field). Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior project management and client management experience preferred but not required.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
