Requirements
- Hands-on finance leader with 15+ years of progressive leadership experience including senior finance executive roles.
- Has led finance in a bootstrapped, founder-led SaaS company and understands what that actually means and requires.
- Sweet spot: 100–500 person companies where you were doing the strategy and the work simultaneously.
- Deep SaaS metrics fluency — ARR, NRR, cohort analysis, consumption model economics.
- Deeply focused on AI readiness and excited to integrate AI into how you work and how you lead and develop your team.
- Can build a genuine working relationship with sales leadership. Possess commercial empathy alongside financial rigor.

Responsibilities
- Streamline how finance runs. Replace manual work with modern tools, fix what is broken and build processes that scale without proportional headcount growth.
- Create a real pricing strategy practice in finance. Model the economics of our evolving revenue model and advise on pricing decisions with data.
- Organize the financials and KPIs to tell a clear, compelling story about the health and trajectory of the business.
- Build a sales-finance forecasting partnership that both teams trust and use.
- Lead a lean finance function that punches above its weight through smart use of modern tools and automation.
- Manage cash flow with the discipline of a bootstrapped business. Every investment is a deliberate choice and capital efficiency is a competitive advantage, not a constraint.
