Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or healthcare administration required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility within finance/accounting in a hospital system, including 5 years of senior management experience.
Knowledge and understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems (Medicare/Medicaid); financial modeling/analysis and healthcare regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated experience in working directly with a Board of Directors, CEO, and executive management.
Ability to collaborate, influence, project confidence, identify organizational needs, and present convincingly detailed information, analysis and recommendations.
Excellent communication skills including both verbal and non-verbal and strong decision-making abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft excel, financial systems, data analytics and reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

A master’s degree in health/hospital administration, finance or business administration is strongly preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the President and CEO for Garnet Health, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a member of the Executive Team and provide financial oversight for all entities within Garnet Health.
The CFO will lead the health system in planning, organizing and directing all functions related to financial management, budget, accounting and reimbursement for Garnet Health.
The CFO works in tandem with the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors, supporting the established goals and objectives.
The CFO is responsible for all local, state and federal financial filings.
Oversees all areas of Finance, Revenue Cycle, Financial Planning and Supply Chain Operations.
