Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the strategic, operational and decision-making leadership of all financial functions across a multi-site government-funded nonprofit organization. The CFO ensures financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, fiscal control and analytic rigor to guide and actively monitor the fiscal performance of Seamen’s Society in support of the agency’s mission. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who can operate effectively in a highly regulated, multi-revenue stream environment, while continuously improving processes, modernizing infrastructure, and serving clients, internally and externally, with speed and excellence. The CFO operates at the intersection of strategy, operations and financial performance, actively shaping the organization’s direction and long-term viability. The CFO exhibits the agency’s core values, championing a culture of adaptability, partnership, positive regard, transparency, learning and financial stewardship throughout the organization.
