About The Position

Serves as the Chief Financial Officer and oversees Memorial Physician Group's financial planning, budgeting, and ongoing adherence to budget as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Masters (Required)
  • AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • 5 years progressive finance experience in a healthcare organization
  • Finance or Business Administration or In a job related field.

Responsibilities

  • Directs/manages the physician group's accounting, financial, budgeting, audit controls/standards/activities, and statistical reporting.
  • Recommends cost effective and efficient solutions.
  • Serves as liaison for financial matters between the physician group and executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
  • Serves as a member of the administrative team and participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short/long-term objectives.
