Responsible for the Overall Financial Management of the Organization, including ensuring that Financial Statements are free of material misstatements and that the organization’s Internal Control System reduces Audit risk to a low level. Oversees the Accounting Department, including the Payroll Unit, in their day-to-day functions. Works with other Department heads to ensure that the Agency-wide Internal Control System is effective. Represents the Organization and the Accounting Department with external agencies such as: IRS, external Auditors, etc., and/or external funders such as: DHS, HRA, DSS, DOH, HPD, MOCS, OMB, etc.
