About The Position

As one of America’s favorite premium coffee brands, Summer Moon focuses on hospitably serving guests our delicious hot and cold beverages, featuring oak-roasted coffee and Moon Milk, with warmth and gratitude every day. We operate ten corporate-owned stores and over forty franchisee-owned stores across 12 states.

We are looking for a contact part time CFO.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis within the QSR or Coffee sectors.

Requirements

• Previous CFO experience in this sector
• QSR / Coffee experience – 10 plus years
• Proven track record in successfully supporting growth using strong analytical skills and effective financial modeling and tracking
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited four-year college or university

Nice To Haves

• MBA or master’s degree in finance or accounting and/or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO, Leadership Teams, and Board of Directors, providing insights that guide organizational priorities and decision‑making.
• Responsible for overall fiscal operations with oversight of all financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, & tax management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Compliance, audit, & risk management: Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and accounting standards.
• Other financial projects or tasks as directed by the CEO.
