About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer for Springbrook reports directly to the CEO and provides Department Heads and CEO with complete current and accurate financial information. Provides recommendations for internal control and future improvements for all departments.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in a senior financial management position in the health care field, preferably in a hospital setting.
• In-depth knowledge of computerized financial information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate up to the Board level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Efficient problem solver and confident decision-maker.
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Accounting.
• At least three years intermediary and provider cost audit and reimbursement experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Analytical and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of DRG’s and Medicare prospective payment systems.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in business or health care preferred.
• Fellow of the HFMA and or certification by the state board desirable.
• At least an advance member of the HFMA preferred.
