The CFO serves as a member of the Sheriff's Executive Team and participates in the development of organizational strategy, policy decisions, operational planning, and resource allocation. This role serves as the principal financial advisor to the Sheriff and Executive Team, ensuring the integrity of financial operations, transparent fiscal management, and long‑range financial planning for the agency. The CFO is responsible for comprehensive budget development and administration, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, asset recordkeeping, financial forecasting, cost analysis, and oversight of all accounting functions across the department.
