About The Position

Flynn Hospitality is hiring a Chief Facility Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance operations at the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites. The role leads and supports the maintenance team, coordinates daily work, troubleshoots building systems, and helps ensure hotel equipment and procedures meet hotel and brand standards. The engineer may assist or step in for the Director of Engineering, respond to emergencies, and participate in on-call rotations as required.

Requirements

• Solid work history.
• Prior hotel or facility maintenance experience.
• Prior supervisory experience leading teams.
• Proven skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and train others.
• Excellent time management, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays and handle on-call situations.
• A safety-first mindset and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team with repairs and maintenance.
• Prioritize and assign daily work orders, guest service requests, and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Assist and step in for the Director of Engineering when needed.
• Ensure equipment, systems, and procedures comply with hotel and brand standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as required.
