Requirements

  • Master’s Degree Required.
  • Three (3) years leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Management functions of finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs.
  • Three (3) years operations experience in an acute care or specialty hospital setting.
  • High personal integrity, positivity and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
  • Must be a hands on self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on hospital operations management in a critical care environment.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, strategic direction and operations management with a focus on business development, exceptional quality patient care and fiscal accountability.
  • Analyze complex situations and execute decisions effectively.
  • Operate effectively under pressure.
  • Assume broad responsibility in a dynamic, challenging healthcare environment.
  • Serve as vice-chair of the Governing Board if there is not a market CEO.
  • Perform daily rounds on nursing floor, communicating with patients, families and staff.
  • Comply with regulatory obligations and possess ownership of the Complaint-Grievance Process.
  • Ensure hospital’s overall compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations.
  • Focus on employee engagement.
  • Personally create, continually cultivate and own a Top 10 Key Business Development Relationship list.
  • Know, understand and effectively implement the Corporate Case Management and PPS Model.
  • Prepare an Annual Operating Budget, a 3 year Capital Budget and a Strategic Plan that is presented and approved by the Governing Board.
  • Maintain a high ethical standard. Consistently behave in a professional and ethical manner, adhering to all policies related. Meet and abide by all compliance, HIPAA and professional standards.
