About The Position
Noo-Kayet Investments (NKI) is the economic arm of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, overseeing a diverse portfolio of enterprises including gaming, hospitality, real estate, and community development initiatives. NKI is committed to sustainable growth, economic empowerment of Tribal members, and fostering partnerships that honor Tribal values and sovereignty. Position Overview: The CEO will provide strategic leadership and oversight of NKI's enterprises, serving as the primary liaison between the Board and General Managers. This role drives business growth, ensures operational excellence, promotes economic development, and represents NKI and the Tribe in government, business, and community relations. The CEO will lead senior management, manage enterprise performance, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, municipal planning, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience, preferably within a tribal organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of economic development, financial management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance
- Strong skills in negotiation, contracts, policy development, and change management
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Proven leadership, team-building, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills
- Energetic, ethical, and supportive of Tribal Sovereignty and self-governance
