About The Position

The Chief Estimator will be responsible for developing and implementing standard operating processes and procedures for estimating and pre-construction. This role involves identifying, hiring, and retaining adequate estimation staff, leading and organizing overall company pre-construction processes, and ensuring the estimating software system is cost-accurate and continually updated. The Chief Estimator will also ensure the estimating staff is knowledgeable and trained in the use of the estimating software and processes. This position will estimate and lead major RFP and bid proposal efforts, oversee the storage of estimates as corporate knowledge, and translate feedback from operations and construction teams to improve estimation and pre-construction efforts. Additionally, the role will assist with contract review and lead the pre-construction turnover effort.

Requirements

• 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in Electrical/background.
• BSSE preferred.
• Relevant certificates or licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities
