Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Chief Engineer to join our team in Paducah, KY. This position is contingent upon contract award. BGS is an engineering, technology, and security firm helping to advance missions of national importance for government programs, national laboratories, national security facilities, nuclear operations, and complex projects. Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in engineering, architecture, or related discipline plus 15 years of direct experience.
- Experience Code interpretation, AHJ or equivalent authority roles, high-hazard facilities.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineering License (KY or equivalent by endorsement).
- Certified Building Official (CBO)
Responsibilities
- Act as the final authority on code interpretation, compliance determinations, and approvals.
- Resolve conflicts between disciplines or codes.
- Sign off on approvals and Certificates of Occupancy.
- Other duties as assigned.
