About The Position

Oversee the physical operations of the resorts, including maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems, and swimming pool. Lead, manage, and empower a team of maintenance workers. This role requires expert knowledge of at least one application discipline, along with the ability to learn new technologies based on business needs. Sound analytical skills are needed to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them. The ability to set the right hiring standards within the company and successfully recruit new engineers to build out the team is crucial. Additionally, the role involves training and developing management and technical leaders within your groups.

Requirements

Expert knowledge of at least one application discipline, along with the ability to learn new technologies based on business needs
Sound analytical skills to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them
3+ years experience in roles leading and managing teams of 6 or more
Excellent knowledge of high transaction environments, distributed workflows, and web platform architectures
Driven, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
Creative and efficient in solving complex, time-critical problems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a unique ability to explain and distill broader concepts as they relate to technical task-level activities
Relevant college degree(s)
