About The Position
Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance department at the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Sikeston, MO. This role involves managing all aspects of the hotel maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and the preventive maintenance program.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of facilities experience
- Experience in a management position
Responsibilities
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Diagnoses problems or repairs machines.
- Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
- Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and proper documentation is recorded.
- Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms).
- Performs pool chemical testing.
