Chief Engineer for Fairfield Inn & Suites - Wentzville, MO
About The Position
Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance department at the Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel located in Wentzville, MO. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and preventive maintenance program. Requirements
- At least 2 years of facilities experience
- Experience in a management position
- Takes pride in keeping the property in good condition
- Dependable and hands-on
- Organized
- Can manage daily maintenance needs without constant direction
- Proactive

- Able to prioritize tasks while keeping the building operating safely and efficiently
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the hotels physical condition and ensuring all systems and areas are running as they should.
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
- Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping.
- Monitoring the buildings systems and addressing issues promptly.
- Completing preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
- Maintaining an organized workspace and maintenance office.
- Tracking work orders
- Coordinating with Vendors when needed
- Pool chemical testing
