NewcrestImage is hiring a Chief Engineer for The Clara Hotel, Plano, TX formerly NYLO Plano!

This person will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel.

Requirements

• 1-3 years hospitality maintenance experience required.
• Strong guest centric mentality.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbal effectively.
• Well-groomed and professional in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all engineering Associates and projects and ensure proper completion of all duties.
• Direct and coordinate all the maintenance activities of the hotel’s facilities, including routine and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back of house, and laundry operations.
• Ensure the proper appearance of the hotel from the entrance to the roof. Direct and coordinate the maintenance of the parking lot and walkways, the landscaping, service and trash areas, and the exterior of all buildings.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled as such by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
