The Chief Engineer is responsible for the oversight of the building maintenance of the property, including the interior and exterior. This role requires knowledge in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering. The position involves performing complex analytical work to provide office, building, and field engineering support, ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria. The role demands performing job duties with a view toward projecting a professional and competent image, with a friendly and outgoing customer service approach, while timelines and maintaining a clean atmosphere are key. The position is fundamental to all mechanical functions of the community and includes working closely with the Association Manager and their maintenance team to operate the community and facilitate solutions to maintenance problems. Strong leadership, customer service, technical, and problem-solving abilities are required.
