Chief Engineer Tv & Rd
About The Position
Responsible for installation and maintenance of all TV and Radio studio equipment. Candidates will have a vast knowledge of radio and TV broadcast engineering and transmission, news operational and technical environments which include studio and field cameras, Adobe Premier non-linear editing systems, Avid iNews newsroom systems, cg graphics interfaces. Candidates must be able to lift at least 40-50 pounds, have a general IT knowledge that includes IT switches and routers, ISP modems, VOIP phones, ENCO radio automation and playout, Comrex, Gates Air Flexiva FM transmitters, GatesAir Maxiva air and liquid cooled TV transmitters, Intraplex IP Link, Comrex Brick link and 950 STL links.
Requirements
- Vast knowledge of radio and TV broadcast engineering and transmission.
- Knowledge of news operational and technical environments.
- Experience with studio and field cameras.
- Experience with Adobe Premier non-linear editing systems.
- Experience with Avid iNews newsroom systems.
- Experience with CG graphics interfaces.
- Ability to lift at least 40-50 pounds.
- General IT knowledge including IT switches and routers, ISP modems, VOIP phones.
- Experience with ENCO radio automation and playout.
- Experience with Comrex.
- Experience with Gates Air Flexiva FM transmitters.
- Experience with GatesAir Maxiva air and liquid cooled TV transmitters.
- Experience with Intraplex IP Link.
- Experience with Comrex Brick link and 950 STL links.
- Familiarization with news operations.
- Familiarization with Ross Carbonite Switchers.
- Familiarization with Wheatstone Consoles.
- Familiarization with Studio Cameras.
- Familiarization with Autoscript prompter systems.
- Familiarization with play out automation systems.
- Familiarization with streaming protocols and gateways.
- Knowledge on Gates Air Liquid and solid states transmitters.
- Knowledge on Ross production switchers.
- Knowledge on JVC/Panasonic and Sony studio and field cameras.
- Knowledge on Ross Xpression graphics interfaces.
- Knowledge on Adobe Premier nonlinear editing systems.
- Knowledge on other related gear as necessary.
