Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business or relevant field
• Master’s degree in related field or CFRE certification
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in non-profit development experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects and teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic development outsourcing engagements ensuring both value and top-tier client service is delivered
• Evaluate the effect of internal and external forces on the client and its related development strategy, providing meaningful insight and ideas to further the client’s development operation
• Create short- and long-range fund development plans and programs that support the organization’s values, mission, and objectives
• Foster a culture of philanthropy across our client’s organization, providing training and resources as applicable
• Serve as a thought partner to establish a balanced mix of donor sources and fundraising programs to attract new donors while retaining current supporters
• Develop systems and processes to ensure development best practices are followed and implemented within our client’s organization
• Aid clients in establishing performance measures for development function and actively monitor results communicating timely insights and recommendations
• Stay current on the philanthropic sector and relevant giving trends, issues, and opportunities
