About The Position

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a Chief CRNA for a full-time role in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with an enhanced compensation package. Founded in 1971, Parkridge Medical Center is a 275-bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga that provides diagnostic and medical-surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. Through Parkridge Health System, patients also have access to OB-GYN services, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.

The anesthesia department includes 30 anesthesiologists and 100 CRNAs working in a care team model that emphasizes giving everyone a voice and supporting, respecting, and helping team members deliver excellent care. Case assignments include orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, pulmonary, endovascular, electrophysiology, neurosurgery, GYN, and a small amount of pediatric anesthesia.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
• Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients’ physiological conditions and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
