About The Position

The Chief Construction Inspector (CCI) is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing construction activities carried out by company crews, contractors, and external agencies such as municipal departments, transit authorities, or private firms. These projects may take place within company facilities including generating stations and substations or in public areas like roads, highways, and bridges. The CCI ensures that all work is performed in full compliance with company specifications, standards, and procedures, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements. A key part of the role is to protect and maintain the integrity of company infrastructure throughout the construction process. The CCI also ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and coordination. Provides oversight and leadership at multiple construction job sites and may be reassigned to alternate locations based on business requirements. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
