About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA. This hospital is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where close patient and family relationships can be formed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing or related field required.
  • Five (5) years experience in a Nursing Management position supervising the delivery of patient care required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required where work is provided in multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Directing and facilitating the activities of nursing and clinical services.
  • Assuming an active leadership role in the hospital’s decision making structure and process.
  • Ensuring and facilitating competence of the clinical staff.
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing for patient care.
  • Overseeing clinical program development.
  • Developing hospital-wide systems, policies, and procedures designed to meet patient care needs.
  • Having overall responsibility and accountability for the development of staffing plans and departmental budgets.
  • Planning for the appropriate utilization of resources.
  • Maintaining or improving the work environment.
  • Monitoring and improving the quality and appropriateness of care.
  • Assuring appropriate staff for patient acuity.
  • Working closely with Physicians to address patient care needs and enhance patient care systems.
  • Promoting the facility through active involvement in external and internal healthcare activities.
