A role in Corporate Real Estate Building Operations means the opportunity to maintain Class A office space and extraordinary team-facing properties. You'll use your maintenance skills to execute Preventative and Corrective maintenance. You'll be a key player on the team that manages the lifecycle of our corporate office, ensuring our spaces are always in great condition. The Sr. Professional Building Operations - Chief Engineer position is responsible for setting up, monitoring, training, and providing direct support to maintenance technicians with respect to building operation programs for assigned HQ location’s equipment and systems which include; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, building management, and life safety to ensure consistency. Responsible for keeping maintenance records and adhering to regulatory requirements on fire systems, pressure vessels, and hazardous waste programs to ensure proper procedures and documentation have been followed. Provide engineering perspective and scope on construction projects as required for building systems to ensure consistent standards are maintained. Assist in preparation of operating and capital budgets. This position is responsible for monitoring the operation of the building management systems to maintain optimum efficiencies without compromising creature comfort. This includes programming parameters and making appropriate decisions to maintain demand levels for heating and cooling. Additionally, this position is responsible for work requests from team members as required, by taking corrective action, and providing appropriate follow up and closely monitoring and documenting energy usage and make recommendations on energy saving measures on equipment, peak shaving, and lighting control programs. Assists maintenance technicians in other operational duties and perform special projects as directed. Give direction to outside service contractors as required. Provide on call coverage as needed. Requirements

  • 2 year Trade School degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years experience in building engineering in a lead capacity.
  • 2nd Class C Boilers license
  • Strong HVAC and Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Strong Building and Energy Management controls experience.
  • Universal CFC license.
  • PC skills especially associated with building management systems, fire systems, and work order maintenance applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all levels within the company.
