Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable HHAs and CHHAs to provide non-medical home care services in Upper Saddle River and surrounding Bergen County areas. You’ll support daily living needs while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey HHA or CHHA certification
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Prepare meals based on client preferences
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Give medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Run errands or accompany clients as needed
- Document care per agency guidelines
