About The Position

This is a full-time, remote position supporting a large, multi-site health system in downstate New York, specifically serving Long Island. The role focuses on a high-volume thoracic imaging practice and is ideal for radiologists with chest imaging expertise seeking to maintain a strong subspecialty focus with schedule flexibility. The work involves a broad mix of chest imaging studies, including thoracic oncology, lung cancer screening, pulmonary embolism, and ILD imaging. Imagen's technology platform aims to improve radiologist workflow with integrated AI tools, operational support, and IT assistance, fostering a collaborative environment focused on efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • ABR or AOBR Board Certified or Board Eligible

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in Thoracic/Chest Imaging preferred
  • Fellowship training in Thoracic Imaging, Chest Imaging, or Cardiothoracic Imaging preferred

Responsibilities

  • Interpret a high volume of thoracic and chest imaging studies, including CT chest, lung cancer screening CTs, pulmonary embolism studies, thoracic oncology imaging, ILD imaging, and chest MRI, with a focus on diagnostic accuracy, efficiency, and subspecialty-quality interpretation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pulmonary medicine, thoracic oncology, lung nodule programs, and thoracic surgery
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to a collaborative, physician-led chest imaging practice
