About The Position

We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.

Requirements

• Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment required
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and RF scanning technology
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (up to 10 feet)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

Nice To Haves

• Current certification for operating powered industrial trucks (PIT)
• Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment, primarily cherry pickers, in a safe and efficient manner
• Pick products from racking systems and transport them to the dock for shipment
• Put away inbound product by moving items from the dock to designated storage locations
• Accurately scan, pick, and put away items using an RF gun or handheld scanner
• Follow warehouse layout plans to ensure efficient product handling and inventory tracking
• Perform daily equipment safety checks and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed
• Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and MSDS standards
• Observe and follow health and safety regulations
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
• Assign designated safety personnel
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
