About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience operating a variety of material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in driving sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts, and will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within our facility. This position requires previous forklift operating experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts.
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to [weight] lbs) and perform physical tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to report problems effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts to move products and materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
Stack and store materials in designated areas, following all safety protocols.
Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Work in coordination with other warehouse staff to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory and storage records when required.
Assist with order picking and packaging, when necessary.
