About The Position

Secondary chemist for closed cooling and raw water asset preservation. Prepare materials and conduct training on standard and new procedures and processes. Determine and recommend courses of corrective action to address existing and emerging situations. May serve as a technical subject matter expertise within defined area of expertise. Plan and coordinate activities as needed to achieve specified scopes of work assigned. Assist in the coordinate of manpower and work activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or 14 years equivalent related work nuclear experience in area of technical expertise
  • 3 years supervisor experience or resident expert in field with industry recognition
  • Growing depth of knowledge in nuclear-related activities which require knowledge of plant equipment, systems and processes
  • Technical expertise within assigned discipline
  • Analysis and problem solving
  • Planning
  • Oral and written communication
  • Ability in working across functions to achieve planned results including ability to work with others in the industry on collaborate assignments
