About The Position

Doctor's Data, Inc. is looking for a quality-conscious individual to fill an entry-level position in our clinical laboratory as a Sample Prep Technician on our first shift in our Chemistry Department located in Saint Charles, Illinois. Doctor's Data, Inc. is a premier international clinical laboratory specializing in integrative medicine with over 50 years of experience in providing specialty testing to healthcare practitioners around the world. As a specialist and pioneer in essential and toxic elemental testing of multiple human tissues, our laboratory offers a wide array of functional testing. DDI’s tests are utilized in the assessment, detection, prevention, and treatment of heavy metal burden, nutritional deficiencies, gastrointestinal function, hepatic detoxification, metabolic abnormalities, and disease of environmental origin.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a clinical, laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science
  • Ability to pipette with accuracy
  • Experience with conducting basic laboratory procedures
  • Ability to complete assignments and multitask with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in written and oral form
  • Ability to read and comprehend science documents
  • Ability to perform scientific math equations including the following: ratios, percentages, dilutions and conversions
  • Familiarization with Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills
  • Must be able to meet attendance requirements and have flexibility in scheduling.
  • Must be comfortable in handling human specimens and have a high regard for safety and good laboratory practices.
  • Color vision is required
  • Ability to work 1st shift M-F 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or degree in medical technology from an accredited institution
  • Previous microscope experience preferred
