Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of directly related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or directly related technical field
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with chemical solution preparation and analytical methods
  • Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing test samples utilizing a variety of hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Setting up test apparatus for routine tasks.
  • Setting up and operating analytical equipment including GC/MS and HPLC.
  • Obtaining and recording test data in accordance with procedures.
  • Performing routine analysis of test data and calculations.
  • Maintaining equipment and facilities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
