About The Position

Anyone AI is seeking Chemistry Experts to develop challenging tasks that assess AI agents’ chemical reasoning, including mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical interpretation. The role involves creating original tasks and reference solutions, then evaluating frontier models using reaction schemes, spectra, and analytical data. This is a remote, project-based engagement with flexible hours, paying US$80–US$150 per hour depending on expertise and project requirements.

Requirements

• A degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent laboratory expertise.
• Graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
• Comfort across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry.
• Experience interpreting spectra and evaluating synthetic routes.
• Fluent English and strong written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• PhD or industry R&D experience.
• Depth in analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, or complex synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Design tasks on reaction mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical or spectral interpretation.
• Develop reference solutions that account for reaction conditions and laboratory safety.
• Evaluate model outputs for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misinterpreted spectra.
• Identify chemically unsound reasoning and overlooked conditions.
• Define criteria for chemical correctness, feasibility, and safety.
