About The Position
Applied Materials' PPB at CTO office is searching for an intern/Co-op to join our team in 2026! The position will entail assisting with inorganic, organic and polymer material/chemical screening, characterization and metrology work. The role requires the ability to safely handle different chemicals and to lead small development projects involving materials/chemical characterization, screening, and QC. The intern will also conduct material/chemical testing and analysis, keep detailed lab records, and support process engineers for material/chemical needs.
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, material science, polymer science or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Experience in Materials Characterizations/analytical chemistry
- Quick learner
- Availability to be physically in Santa Clara, CA for 6-months
