About The Position

The Chemist will perform analytical testing and support laboratory activities to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires hands-on experience with analytical instruments and solid knowledge of chromatographic techniques and pharmacopeial methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (BS required).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical laboratory.
  • Proficiency with analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV, IR.
  • Experience with Empower Chromatography System.
  • Knowledge of USP, EP, and ICH guidelines.
  • Strong analytical mindset, documentation accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Chemist License (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, UV, IR, and other laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct method validation, verification, and transfer following applicable guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain analytical systems (e.g., Empower Chromatography Data System).
  • Prepare and review analytical reports, laboratory documentation, and results summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with USP, EP, and other regulatory standards.
  • Support investigations, OOS/OOT results, and CAPA implementation.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments in qualified condition and ensure calibration and maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory safety standards at all times.
