Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a coating environment a plus.
- Basic understanding of pH and chemistry or basic chemistry lab experience plus.
Responsibilities
- Processes metal parts through the chem treat line (clean/degrease, iron phosphate, aluminum passivation).
- Loads and unloads parts in chem treat baskets.
- Understand and follow work order documentation and standard work.
- Operate crane hoist in a safe and controlled manner.
- Maintains bath temperature and rinse water quality.
- Safely handle chemicals and make chemical additions to treatment baths.
- Assist with tank cleanout activities.
- Recognize and report processing discrepancies.
- Follow company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
