About The Position

Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. (CTS) is seeking a Chemical Shuttle Driver to join their team. CTS aims to be a premier transportation and logistics service provider, focusing on team member development, safety, operations, and innovative technology. As a subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc., a major independent oil company in the Southeast, this role contributes to keeping the world moving by transporting petroleum, lubricant, and chemical products. The company offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new drivers, an annual safety bonus up to $10,000, and hourly pay. This is a night shift position operating Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work, typically starting no later than 6:00 PM. Shifts generally average 10-11 hours, with primary routes including runs to Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC, returning to Savannah. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required.
2+ years of professional driving experience is required.
Ability to work night shift schedules and extended hours as business demands require.
Basic computer skills inclusive of understanding and utilizing electronic logs, employee time reporting, and utilization of e-mail are required.
Eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous tanker, chemical, petroleum, or hazardous material transportation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport fuel, lubricant, and chemical products to and from designated destinations.
Complete nightly shuttle runs between Savannah and assigned terminal locations.
Maintain equipment in clean, organized, and safe working condition.
Maintain driver logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines and DOT regulations.
Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation.
Inspect inventory and product loads to ensure proper delivery and compliance.
Follow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and hazardous material handling requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
